Such a Baller
Syndra, the Dark Sovereign, has gradually turned into my favorite mage in “League of Legends,” even beating out Mordekaiser, the Master of Metal.
I have been going through various champions to adjust my Fantastic 15 character pool, and Syndra has been my go-to gal for a while now. She is actually very fun to play once you get the hang of her unique play style and various nuances.
Though very unpopular as a champion choice, especially among mages, I believe Syndra has some genuinely cool aspects to her design that appeals to my “Johnny nature.” People are going to look down on you for picking Syndra, but you can have the last laugh when they are taking a ball bombardment to the face.

Purr-fect Part 18

Special thanks to April for drawing Kiya again, though I still really liked her other drawing of Kiya as well.
Like I always tell people, Egyptian mythology is my absolute favorite kind of mythology out there. I think this drawing by April captures a lot of Egyptian elegance with an adorable and pretty design. I love this drawing a lot! ^^

An adorable comic drawn by The-Cannie! MANY THANKS!
Sylphie, the Butterfly Faerie, a custom champ idea for “League of Legends.”
Hopefully, I can post the full concept very soon.
Purr-fect Part 17

Wow, just wow! Many thanks to ~LittleDarkDragon for drawing this comic of Kiya. This comic uses the older design of Kiya, but I still really like how creative the final piece turned out. Also, Warwick as a newscaster?! Whodathunkit?

Nhan-Fiction Note: My favorite jungler in “League of Legends” just got much cooler.
Fluttery Part 4
More finishing touches have been completed for Sylphie, the Butterfly Faerie, a custom champ idea in the works for “League of Legends.” This wonderful piece of art shown above was drawn by k1lleet, who was also the artist who put together the mummy skin idea for Kiya.
Hextech Sylphie has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? I will proudly display this artwork along with many other cool pieces that I have on standby. For instance, here is an abstract and symbolic drawing of Sylphie done by Imoristar (the voice actress for many of my previous custom champ concepts). Read the rest of this entry »
Fluttery Part 3

It has been a mix of anxiousness and a lot of excitement as I eagerly wait for elements of Sylphie, the Butterfly Faerie, to finish up. My method for making custom champions for “League of Legends” takes awhile because of the complicated aspects.
I do not like to rush these projects if I cannot help it. I wrote a post on LoL Wiki that asked for more contributors, but unfortunately not many people really seemed interested in pinching in toward Sylphie’s concept.
Nonetheless, I was not really discouraged because I do in fact have a folder on my desktop, which is filled with random Sylphie things for the world to see in due course.

Something Fishy
Over the past few weeks, I have been finding new champs to take up slots for a revised, Fantastic 15. In “League of Legends,” it is always a good idea to have a few “go to” champions to call upon for a given role.
For the support slot, I have been playing a lot of Nami, the Tidecaller, in normal games as practice. Nami was actually a gift from Riot Games for me, and I recently have developed a liking for the mer-mage’s capabilities. She can make a splash in games in her own ways, BUT there is a key point to consider: other support champs like Thresh are still better than her.

I am in the process of coding the page for my next custom champion for ”League of Legends.”
Sylphie, the Butterfly Faerie, will try to raise the bar as far as custom characters go among the LoL community.
I am trying to gather further artwork and other elements to make this concept awesome. Read the rest of this entry »
Like a Pro
If I ever got good enough at “League of Legends” to play like a professional, and I could get the honor of having a Pro Player Picks video, I would definitely choose Sejuani as the champion I would want to showcase.
I consider Sejuani to be my best jungler up my sleeve. For a long time, people have dissed the Viking lady who rode on the pig, even claiming she was near the bottom of the barrel in terms of tiers and overall viability.
I have never considered Sejuani to be like a secretly broken character or anything, but I do think that she has been an underestimated champion at the very least.
However, Sejuani will soon be donning some armor on top of her chainmail bikini in favor of a new kit and visual rework. I believe that Sejuani will still be my jungler of choice after her remake is implemented into the game.
What can I say? Sejuani is one cool customer. PIG POWER!

Meet Sylphie, a butterfly fairy. She is my next custom champ project for “League of Legends” I am putting together with my friends.
Kiya, the Fervor of the Sands, certainly has raised the bar for this special, niche hobby among the LoL community. This means that Sylphie is gonna have to be even more awesome than the Kiya concept. Quite a tall order, I have to say.
I intend to go the whole nine yards with Sylphie’s design and then some.
This includes:

Feline fine? This Kiya project sure is.
I have to give a special thank you to Devin (and Mokey-chan) for reading the lore of Kiya, the Fervor of the Sands. In addition, I have to give further props to Amanda for writing Kiya’s lore for this project.
Kiya is an elaborate, custom champion for “League of Legends.” I am very proud of what this project has become, and plus I am very thankful for everyone who has contributed their respective talents. I am truly blessed. >^..^< Read the rest of this entry »
