Believe in You

Do As Infinity - “Believe in You”

English Translation of Lyrics
I’m not even afraid of the sorrow
Or pain that I must get over
There is a life I’m joined with
Believe in you – I’ll go toward tomorrow

We’ll cross the waves of time
And finally arrive there, I’m sure

I won’t lose
On that day when I was helplessly lost
Your words pushed my back

The 54th Deadline: Opponents

The 54th Deadline: Life is a series of chances to achieve something by a given point. You might very well miss out on opportunities if you are not careful. However, I firmly believe that God gives us plenty of means to find our way, even if we mess up here and there. After all, life demands deadlines. Try and try again until your goals and dreams are realized. Strive to finish on a successful note with whatever you set out to do. Always.
Opponents in life are necessary. The best things in the world stem from competition. To the victor go the spoils, after all.

An opponent here. An opponent there.

Is it wrong for me to think of anyone who gets in my way as an opponent? Am I justified in thinking of them as a literal obstacle to where I want to be?

Deep down, I just see this as how the world works. It’s a constant series of winners and losers, and to get ahead you need to make sure you’re the one who bests your given opponent.

Random Kanji Knowledge: Tora

Random Kanji Knowledge: Kanji is a complicated means of conveying language. With literally thousands of symbols that have different readings depending on context, the layers of complexity can prove overwhelming. However, beyond the squiggly lines lies sophistication to those patient and diligent enough to learn. Kanji is really cool in this regard.

Today’s kanji is 虎, which is pronounced tora (toe-rah.) It is the kanji for tiger, as in the largest cat in the world.

The stroke order.

Song 4 U

I am enjoying Tales of Xillia 2 as a side game I have been playing. Very fun and interesting. I love the featured song as well. I think it really describes my life to a T at the moment.

Ayumi Hamasaki - “Song 4 U”

English Translation of Lyrics
Even now, I still don’t have that much confidence
There are times I can’t step forward

If you think to yourself, if I make a mistake or if I look back
What will happen?

Happy Haiku: Lanaya

Happy Haiku: I try to dabble in writing haiku poems in Japanese.

Like I wrote the other day, I have been playing a lot of Dota 2 as of late and having a blast. It’s been a really good experience, overall anyway, with trying to get back into the game.

As I was transitioning over into Dota 2 from League of Legends, I found myself really taking a quick liking to Lanaya, the Templar Assassin, and her style of play. She plays a lot like a ninja, and who doesn’t like a cool ninja girl?

I would go as far as to call Lanaya my favorite hero in Dota 2 at this point. Heck, I have been plastering Lanaya pictures all over my various blogs and stuff.
