Unpopular Opinion

I am sure we all have that one champion we use in “League of Legends” where people roll their eyes and go, “Really?”

You know … it’s like they give you the impression that the champ you are using is like a troll pick, a character who will probably lead to your team’s defeat because of a bad reputation and whatnot.

For me, an “unpopular” champ I like to use is Sejuani, the Winter’s Wrath. Now, I will throw out there that I consider Sejuani my “best” jungler in my arsenal.

Sejuani is definitely not a high-tier champ, but she is formidable in her own ways. I guess I have a lot of pride with Sejuani because I am in a very, very rare group of players who actually plays her in games. I have had my share of people who questioned my Sejuani pick in champ select. I have had people dodge ranked queues because I told them I was going to use jungle Sejuani.

Honestly, I never really understood how she built up such a horrible perception from the community. She has many pros like her stout HP pool, her great crowd control and strong ganking and team fight presence. Though other junglers are certainly stronger than Sejuani, this still should not warrant all the hate she receives.

Seriously, I can do work with this Viking lady and her boar named Bristle. PIG POWER IN DA HOUSE!!!

Who are your “unpopular” champs you like to use? Do you believe their negative reputation is deserved?

  1. I’m level 21 so I don’t play ranked. I still play beginner bots and will play intermediate bots when I reach 25. I don’t have very many unpopular champions, or that many champions at all (16 champions).
