Random Kanji Knowledge: Sukoshi

I bet a lot of people don’t realize they are using a Japanese word when they say “skosh.” English is just a fascinating language! The language just borrows words from so many countries. :)

Skosh derives from the Japanese word 少し sukoshi (すこし). It simply means just a little bit (of something), such as a pinch of salt. The kanji itself is just the same character for “small” 小, except with a line underneath. Now you know. >^..^<
