I think it is just an inherent bias that people have for their mother’s cooking, but I will be bold and say that my makes the best phở. Ever.

I have had phở in fancy restaurants in places like Seattle and Portland, but my makes her batch with love and passion. Everything tastes superior – the rice noodles, the vegetables, the broth, the various kinds of meat floating around the soup – everything.
